    Youth Coaching Opportunities 
    Adults and teens 16 or older
    No coaching experience required; free coaching materials and training clinics are provided.

    T-ball and Baseball
    May, June and July-August

    Soccer
    Fall Season begins in late August and runs to mid-October


    General Opportunities 
    Open to individuals 16 years & older.

    Ice Center Clerical Aide
    Provide weekly clerical support to Ice Center staff. Must have previous clerical and customer service experience, strong computer skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Adults.

    Farmers Market Aide
    Wednesdays, July through mid-September
    Must love to interact with people, be able to lift up to 10 pounds, stand for long periods of time and be a positive representative of the City. Adults.

    Team Green Tree
    Work events held quarterly
    Learn more about tree/shrub care and improve the citys' community green spaces by planting, pruning, mulching, weeding and removing buckthorn.

    Millennium Garden Caretakers
    June through September
    Keep the Millennium Garden looking beautiful! Set your own schedule to water, deadhead and weed.

    Adopt a Park, Trail or Disc Golf Course
    Keep the Citys' recreational spaces clean by picking up litter weekly. Bags and equipment provided.


    Special Events Opportunities 
    Open to individuals 16 years & older.

    Yard & Garden Expo
    Friday, April 9 & Saturday, April 10
    Get an early start on spring. Volunteer positions include set up and decorating, admissions, information booth, hospitality room, flower arrangers, recycle crew, plant sale and clean up.

    Primavera Fine Arts Event
    April 16 - 20
    Celebrate spring and the arts at the Citys' premier fine arts event. Opportunities include hanging and checking in art, handing out programs, and serving refreshments.

    Park & Trail Clean Up Day
    Saturday, April 24
    Help keep Plymouth clean - pick up litter at a park or trail after the winter thaw. Great for people of all ages, individuals or groups. Bags are provided. Continue the effort by choosing a park or trail to keep clean from spring to fall.

    Bare Root Tree Sale
    Friday, April 30, & Saturday, May 1
    Help with set up and then assist residents who have placed orders for trees and shrubs during a City-sponsored sale.

    Environmental Quality Fair
    Thursday, May 12, Oakwood Elementary School
    Help children learn about environmental issues, assist fascinating exhibitors and encourage hands-on activities.

    Flower Planting
    Saturday, May 22
    Join in planting nearly 12,000 flowers to beautify Plymouth city parks and buildings. No experience needed just come and have fun! Open to teens, adults, families and groups.

    Special Drop-Off day
    Saturday, May 22
    Put your passion for the environment to work on the day when city residents can safely dispose of recyclable items. Volunteers direct traffic, keep track of and sort items.


    Teen Opportunities 
    Summer Teen Volunteer Program
    June - August
    The Summer Teen Volunteer Program is an excellent opportunity for teens 14 and older to learn leadership skills and gain valuable experience working with children. Teens assist with summer recreation programs, including playgrounds, day camp, sports, art, music and more. Teens choose the programs, locations and times that interest them. Call 763-509-5230 for an application; they are due May 14. Mandatory training session: June 16.

    Skate Park Focus Group
    Let your voice be heard during focus groups to gather ideas and suggestions to update the Citys' skate park. Must be an active skateboarder who has used the City skate park.
