The Regional Guaranteed Ride Home
Program offers insurance that bus
riders, car poolers, van poolers, bicyclists and even walkers can get home in the event of a work or family emergency regardless of where they live or work in the metro area.
To qualify, commuters must use alternative transportation to work or school at least three times per week. When registered, commuters will receive two free coupons every six months which they can use in the event of an emergency. The coupons can be used for a bus ride home or for cab fare
reimbursement of up to $25.
