The City of Plymouth provides water and sewer service to residents living in most areas of the city. The primary exception is a relatively small area in the northwest corner of Plymouth which falls outside the Metropolitan Urban Services Area (MUSA). People living outside the MUSA use private wells and septic systems to meet water and sewer service needs.
