Housing in Plymouth
Plymouth is a popular place for people of all ages to make their home. The city offers residents a strategic location, four highly regarded school districts, a first-rate park and trail system, a strong job market and a variety of lifecycle house.

While single-family homes make up more than half (58%) of the city's housing stock, apartments, townhouses and condominiums are also plentiful. The average price of a single-family home in Plymouth in 2006 was $367,900. About 20% of the city's housing stock is rental.

Owners who own rental properties may list their properties at no cost by registering with Housing Link at www.housinglink.org.

To maintain a healthy housing stock, Plymouth has adopted a housing maintenance code. The City will conduct inspections of buildings and properties that may be hazardous or in need of cleanup/repair.
